Application of Distilled Monoglyceride GMS Powder in plastic additives

Glycerin monostearate (GMS), which is produced from natural vegetable oils and fats: Plam oil, also called monoglyceride, distilled monoglyceride.

The effective ingredients are purified by molecular distillation technology to reach more than 90%.

It is the most widely used food Additives, safely to use in the production and processing of food, medicine, plastics, etc., accounting for more than half of the market emulsifier consumption. It has emulsification, dispersion, stability, defoaming, antistatic, coating and starch anti-aging properties.

Application of distilled monoglyceride in plastic additives:

1. Foaming and anti-shrinkage

In order to meet the requirements of environmental protection, freon foaming agents will be gradually eliminated.

It can be used as a foaming aid for high-foamed polyethylene and polystyrene, and can be used together with butane and other foaming agents, with very good effects.

Moreover, the surface of the foamed product to which it is applied is very smooth, clean and bright, without shrinkage.

2. Lubrication and antistatic

It can reduce the friction between polymer molecules, thereby reducing the viscosity of the polymer melt and improving its fluidity. It has the advantages of good compatibility with resin, easy to disperse, and suitable for transparent products.

3. Help plasticize and modify

Distilled monoglyceride PE, PP, PVC, PS and other plastic materials have good compatibility, which can improve flexibility and make the appearance more beautiful.

It is particularly effective as a plasticizer and modifier for nitrocellulose, alkyd resin, nylon products, engineering plastics, etc.

4. Anti-physical and chemical, anti-drip

The atomization on the surface of the agricultural plastic film not only hinders the sunlight, but also the condensation of water drops on the crops, which will seriously damage the growth of the crops. It can produce good anti-fogging effect. Through its surface activity, the surface of the film can be easily wetted, and the condensed water droplets can stay along the film to avoid direct fall.
